His expertise includes operational and commercial turnarounds, as well as creating value through tech-enabled transformations across various industries in the MENA region. Recently, he has been focused on driving large AI-enabled transformations.
Jalil was the managing partner of McKinsey’s Cairo office from 2021 to 2025 and previously led the firm’s activities across French-speaking Africa for nearly a decade.
Before joining McKinsey, Jalil spent 12 years in top management positions across the airline, investment banking, and pharmaceutical industries. He is also the founder of a greenfield gypsum business that became a leading player in North Africa.
