As leader of McKinsey’s Business Building Practice in banking in Europe, Jorge works with incumbent banks, financial investors, and financial services groups to design, launch, and scale AI-native digital challengers and next-generation banking businesses from the ground up. Over the past decade he has co-built and launched multiple digital-attacker banks across Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, spanning retail, SME, and commercial banking segments. He combines this operator profile with deep expertise in AI, digital ecosystems, and advanced analytics, and brings a cross-sector perspective from ventures built in energy, healthcare, and real estate that sharpens his view on what separates digital businesses that scale from those that stall.
