Rachid is a Senior Partner based in our Middle East office. He transferred from the Amsterdam office in 2012, where he originally joined the firm in 2001.
Examples of Rachid’s recent client work include:
- transforming the portfolio performance of a major global energy leader across its refining, chemicals, and commercial businesses in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia
- optimizing the gas-and-power assets of a leading European utility to reduce value loss from increased market competition
- integrating the North Sea upstream assets and operations for a leading international oil company
- shaping and delivering an ambitious local content plan for a large national oil company
- supporting an African country in attracting foreign direct investment for its mining and chemicals sector to create a world-class production hub
Rachid is a member of McKinsey’s global Senior Partner Election Committee. He also coleads McKinsey’s Global Center for CEO Excellence.
