Abhishek is a senior expert in McKinsey’s Atlanta office and a leader in our service operations work. For over 12 years, he has focused on driving large-scale productivity programs for clients, encompassing organization design, operating model transformation, and change management. Abhishek is also the Americas coleader for our work in zero-based budgeting, helping organizations unlock significant efficiencies and reinvest in strategic priorities.
Abhishek brings deep cross-industry expertise to his client work, having led transformations for global companies in advanced industries, financial services, as well as consumer goods sectors, among others. Prior to joining the firm, Abhishek worked at Gartner, where he consulted on finance and HR topics for organizations with a growth focus in the Asia–Pacific region.
Abhishek’s recent client work includes:
- leading an AI transformation of finance processes for a leading telecommunications company, deploying agentic AI to shift the finance function from a scorekeeper to a strategic partner, delivering significant gains in effectiveness and productivity
- guiding a multiyear growth and productivity program for a financial services company across enabling functions, driving frontline growth and innovation
- leading a global zero-based productivity program for a retail organization that combined organization redesign and targeted non-personnel efficiencies.
