Anand Swaminathan

Anand serves and counsels CEOs and boards across sectors—including consumer, energy, hospitality, advanced industries, and financial services—on technology-enabled growth and enterprise transformation. He currently leads Lilli, the firm’s flagship generative AI platform, and Global Experience & Mobility, which designs distinctive global experiences and learning through long- and short-term mobility, cross-regional staffing, and firmwide programs.

Previously, Anand led Build by McKinsey—the firm’s technology delivery practice and a global community of engineers, architects, designers, and product owners—where he helped scale growth and deepen technical capabilities. Earlier in his tenure, he led McKinsey Digital in Asia.

A passionate technologist, Anand publishes frequently on digital and core technology topics and is coauthor of Digital @ Scale: The Playbook You Need to Transform Your Company (Wiley, 2017).

Prior to joining McKinsey, he spent nearly two decades at a global management consulting and professional services company, including serving as chief strategy officer for its digital business.

He also serves as a trustee and member of the board of directors of Case Western Reserve University.
