Davide leads McKinsey’s Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice in the Mediterranean office and the firm’s CFO of the Future platform. In these roles, he helps bring together capabilities in strategy, corporate finance, data, AI, technology, risk, and operations to support CFOs on their most important priorities.
He works with large organizations—particularly in banking and financial services—to shape and deliver multiyear transformations with measurable impact. His work spans CFO strategy, finance-function transformation, AI and automation, enterprise cost management, cash and working-capital optimization, investor relations, M&A, capital and liquidity, risk, and data-driven performance steering.
Over the last twenty years, Davide has served clients undergoing large-scale transformations around the world.
Examples of his recent work include the following:
- helping a leading European financial institution design and implement a multiyear CFO-led cost transformation, leveraging advanced analytics and AI to unlock significant structural value
- shaping a bankwide data and AI transformation for a major European bank, repositioning AI from a technology initiative to a CEO- and CFO-level value-creation agenda
- supporting CFOs in redesigning finance functions through digitization, automation, and agentic AI, improving decision speed, transparency, and strategic steering
- helping a large global bank launch a finance-reporting transformation using gen AI and automation to simplify processes and improve performance management
- advising healthcare organizations on growth, digital innovation, working-capital optimization, and new business-building opportunities
- helping a large enterprise in Latin America create innovative AI-enabled value-based management systems, including budgeting, management-information systems, strategic planning, and performance dialogs
Davide holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a summa cum laude degree in financial engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan.
