Since joining McKinsey in 2009, Diana has brought her deep expertise in culture and change management, talent and leadership development, and strategic organization design to ensure organizations have the necessary talent and environments to deliver their strategy in a sustainable way.
Diana works across contexts ranging from industry leaders reinventing themselves to high-growth portfolio companies to merger integrations, often supporting companies with large, distributed workforces. Her recent work focuses on talent strategy, leadership development, organizational health, and change management.
Diana is a leader and founder of The Alliance, a network committed to advancing civil rights and inclusion for the LGBTQ+ community. Since 2018, The Alliance has built connections among LGBTQ+ leaders in business, academia, and the social and public sectors.
Examples of her recent client work include the following:
- Co-led an integration and growth transformation at a consumer/education organization, including design and creation of a new operating model and growth initiatives across all BUs, as well as incubation of a new B2B business
- Led the development and implementation planning of a new leadership framework and performance management system for a Fortune 500 transportation company
- Led a leadership operating model and organizational structure review for a multicampus public university system
- Co-led the development of a new operating model across operations in 50+ countries, corporate headquarters, and shared service centers for an international specialty chemicals company
- Led a talent strategy accelerator program, including talent assessment, goal-setting, and strategy development, for 300+ companies across biotech, consumer, telecom, and public sector enterprises
- Led a workplace culture reset at a high-tech company including new approaches to collaboration, productive conflict, and concern resolution, for improved innovation and speed to market
- Designed and led a culture and change-management transformation for a major agricultural merger, including an enhanced leadership program and an integrated approach to embedding culture in critical processes and all performance initiatives
- Drove a strategic workforce planning and career path effort to improve technical talent flows at a global med-device company
Before joining McKinsey, Diana was a founding teacher at a public, tuition-free charter middle school and the executive director of Teach For America–Atlanta. Her background bridges an emphasis on learning and development, fostered during her time in the education sector, with a focus on business and organizational effectiveness that deepened through her graduate studies. She holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
