Co-leader of McKinsey’s Renewables and Green Business Building service lines. Advises clients mainly in the energy sector with a focus on renewables and focuses on business building, growth and corporate and business unit strategy.

Holger has been working in energy for the past 20 years, focusing on strategy, growth, organizational and operations work. From 2009 to 2016, between his first and second time at McKinsey, he worked in the industry, at Q-Cells International and E.ON, where he held Managing Director and COO positions. After re-joining, Holger built up a new service line within McKinsey, where we serve startups and scaleups on growth topics, investors on portfolio strategy and asset growth as well as corporates on corporate venturing and external innovation. Holger now focuses on energy transition and green business building topics and serves clients, both large and small, across Europe.
