Jean-Christophe Mieszala is a senior partner of McKinsey’s office in France. He is also a leader of the firm’s Financial Institutions Practice in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Based in Paris, Jean-Christophe dedicates much of his work to strategy and transformation programs for large banking and financial clients or public institutions—both French and international.

Jean-Christophe Mieszala’s expertise in banking and finance encompasses portfolio management, business strategies, governance, retail-network organization, as well as capital and risk management. He has also developed and managed major transformation programs—as well as several strategic alliances and mergers—for private or semi-public financial institutions.

Jean-Christophe regularly participates in public debates and think tanks addressing financial systems or regulation matters. Besides his consulting work counseling leading executives, he participates in McKinsey research projects in the fields of banking and finance, and contributes to the studies of institutions like the World Economic Forum and the Institut de l’Entreprise. He is also a member of the advisory council of the Banque de France and has been actively engaged with educational institutions such as ParisTech, the École Polytechnique, and HEC.
