Jon is the managing partner of McKinsey’s Philippines office, with 20 years of experience across the Philippines, Southeast Asia, and the United States. He brings deep expertise in energy—including power, oil and gas, and mining—as well as infrastructure across transportation and logistics sectors.
Jon advises leading organizations on strategy, and tech-enabled transformation. His recent client work includes:
- leading a sales force transformation for a global financial services player, including resetting incentives, upgrading talent and recruitment, building capabilities, and redesigning key processes
- leading an AI-enabled reimagination of workflows across customer service and core operations for a shared services provider
- leading an end-to-end operations transformation for a refinery, delivering significant bottom-line impact across operations, maintenance, supply chain, and trading within 12 months
- developing an energy portfolio strategy for an Asian holding company, including market outlooks for utility-scale and rooftop solar, grid-level storage, and associated investment opportunities
- leading a portfolio review for the diversified business of a technology conglomerate, validating strategy and assessing growth trends, disruptions, diversification, and divestment opportunities
- leading a holistic performance reset for a major telecommunications player, leveraging analytics to reduce cost to serve, improve capital deployment, and redesign organizational structure
- conducting a strategic review for a leading logistics company in Asia, including defining the business case for an M&A program across priority sectors, geographies, and capabilities
Prior to joining McKinsey, Jon worked in the energy sector, focusing on renewable energy development.
