Monisha is a senior partner in McKinsey’s Social Sector, Healthcare, & Public Sector Entities Practice, based in the Bay Area. She serves as the managing partner of McKinsey’s Silicon Valley office, where she engages closely with the AI and tech community on partnerships, growth, and new market entry.
Prior to her current role, Monisha led McKinsey’s North American payer work, serving regional and national health plans, providers, private equity firms, and retail pharmacies across all lines of business.
For more than two decades, Monisha has focused on helping players in the healthcare ecosystem navigate an evolving landscape through M&A, partnerships, growth strategies, value-based care, payer-provider collaboration, transformation, cross-channel innovation, and capability building.
During her leadership of the firm’s Medicare work, Monisha enhanced the firm’s capabilities to serve elderly and vulnerable populations, emphasizing access and affordability for members and caregivers.
Monisha is a trusted CEO adviser and sits on several CEO roundtables. She frequently speaks at industry conferences and with boards, where she continues to elevate leadership aspirations and ambitions to deliver on their company missions.
