Neeraj is an associate partner in McKinsey’s Social Sector, Healthcare, & Public Sector Entities Practice, where he helps leaders use technology and AI to unlock growth and improve access, quality, and efficiency. He has extensive experience in growth strategy and operations, including customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) transformations, and supports leaders in translating strategy into scalable outcomes.
Before joining McKinsey, Neeraj served as a profit-and-loss (P&L) leader at a global medtech company, where he led cross-functional teams and advanced digital engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic to drive sustained commercial performance. Earlier in his career, he worked as a subject-matter expert, helping academic medical centers, biopharma, and biotech organizations design and implement novel imaging solutions.
Neeraj began his career in academia as a postdoctoral scholar and research professor at Clemson University, leading multi-university collaborations focused on imaging and translational research. He has authored more than 14 peer-reviewed publications and holds two US patents.
