Vladimir is a Senior Partner in McKinsey & Company Southeast Asia, actively serving consumer-facing industries including technology, consumer, retail, food & beverage, real estate, fintech. He leads the firm's Telecommunications Practice in Asia Pacific.

Since joining the firm, Vlad has served clients in more than 20 countries in Western, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Southeast Asia, focusing on enterprise value creation through profitable growth, new business building, M&A, next-gen operating model, commercial and digital transformations, advanced analytics, adjacencies and customer experience. 

His recent work includes: 

  • Scaling a client’s petfood business globally through a holistic transformation (including commercial excellence, innovation and category launch, growth by design, lean operations, operating model uplift and programmatic M&A)
  • Developing differentiated concepts for new growth opportunities in real estate (e.g., H&W, open ecosystems, etc.)
  • Designing and building businesses in health and wellness, e-commerce and innovate omnichannel retail formats 
  • Accelerating profitable growth for a global QSR player in Europe through a combination of commercial excellence (access new occasions, expand delivery coverage, deliver cross product offerings) and step change opportunities (scale existing and build new brands, offer dark kitchens as a service, introduce dedicated grocery offering)
  • Running numerous growth strategies and topline growth programs for consumer facing industries (B2C and B2B2C) across sectors through strategic portfolio play, go-to-market strategies, holistic commercial transformations, enterprise agility, delayering and operating model evolution 
  • Building digital service ecosystems, fintech, health tech, e-commerce marketplace and next-gen loyalty, customer engagement programs across B2C sectors – from strategy to go-to-market to business building, launch and scaling
  • Growing the EBITDA of a large grocery retailer through advanced analytics-led pricing and promo process redesign
  • Running executive team capability building programs (leading self, others, and large-scale transformations)
  • Leading AA-led personalization and customer engagement programs with a number of TMT, e-commerce and offline retailers in Russia and Southeast Asia 

Prior to joining McKinsey, Vlad worked as a technology and legal-compliance expert in an electrical-power company.
