Examples of William’s recent experiences include the following:

  • leading a multi-year, comprehensive supply chain transformation at a top national health care provider, including opportunity identification, implementation, capability building, and performance management with more than $500 million of impact
  • leading a procurement diagnostic and value capture program for an internationally leading health system with a focus on bridging the gap between supply chain and physicians to implement a clinician-led function; project led to ~$50 million of annual impact by leveraging novel contracting and utilization management strategies in partnership with physician leaders
  • supporting a $30 billion healthcare system on the optimization of its purchased services spending, driving a pipeline of $350 million of impact in the first year
  • leading the creation of the strategy and build out for the analytics hub for a new entrant into the group purchasing organization (GPO) market, inclusive of tools to analyze spend, identify opportunities, and track value capture
  • supporting a prominent AMC in the Middle East focused on professionalizing the procurement function, clinical supplies standardization, and purchased services optimization
  • supporting the national GPO of a Middle East nation on the development of its 5-year strategy
  • leading a COVID-19 supply chain response team, serving more than 100 private and public sector clients on crisis management and demand modeling
