Yassir is the Managing Partner of McKinsey’s Casablanca office, where he works with corporations, investors, and governments across North Africa, the Middle East, and Sub-Saharan Africa to drive large-scale transformations at both the organizational and national economic levels. He helps leaders design and implement strategies that reshape markets, unlock sustainable growth, and deliver lasting impact.

Before returning to Casablanca, the office where he first joined McKinsey in 2005, Yassir was based in the Middle East from 2017 through 2026. He has extensive experience supporting economic and sector transformations, leading initiatives that accelerate sector growth, and managing major investment programs to enhance competitiveness and create tangible social and economic outcomes.

Yassir also leads McKinsey’s global economic development work, helping public- and private-sector clients leverage data-driven insights and advanced decision models to shape strategy and policy.

He is fluent in English, French, and Arabic, with conversational proficiency in Italian and Spanish.
